Former House of Stars Reality TV star, youth advocate, and politician, Ibrahim Tejan Fofanah has organized a naming ceremony for his new baby girl months after his wife give birth to twins.
Months back, Fofonah and his wife welcomed twins but unfortunately, they lost one of the baby who was a boy.
Fofonah shared the news on social media, expressing both gratitude and reflection. His message read: “Alhamdulillah. Allah blessed me with a boy and a girl, but He wants me to celebrate and name the girl today. I’m grateful for what I lost and what I have, I pray Allah replaces what I lost with many blessings. However, my daughter’s naming ceremony was successful and blissful.”
Fofanah named his daughter Bor Jeneba Tejan Fofanah, in honour of his mother’s sister, a tradition that is common in most Sierra Leonean homes.
Well wisher rendered heartily congratulating messages to the couple and pray for the baby’s wellbeing.
Fofanah is widely known for his work with young people and involvement in community initiatives and has recently made his intention known to embark on politics.
