The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone has on Wednesday, 28th May 2025, bid farewell to two senior staff, as they officially sign out from the commission.
The two officials include Nabilahi Musa Kamara Esq., who served as the Director of National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) Secretariat until his retirement, and Emmanuel Koivaya Amara Esq., the former Coordinator of Operations, who resigned due to his recent appointment as Chairman of the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC).
Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala Esq., and Deputy Commissioner Augustine Foday Ngobie led the tributes, showering both men with heartfelt commendations for their invaluable contributions to the work of the Commission and the nation.
“They were not just Directors, they were pillars in this institution,” Commissioner Kaifala said. He added that their intellect, integrity, and institutional memory helped shape many of the Commission’s major successes over the years.
Colleague staff took turns to share fond recollections and moving testimonies about working alongside their colleagues, whom they described as “faithful servants.” Many described them as mentors, leaders, and patriots whose influence and professional example will be sorely missed.
In recognition of their outstanding service and commitment, the Commission presented each of them with brand-new laptop computers as a token of appreciation.
The ceremony closed on a celebratory note, with warm exchanges, laughter, and expressions of gratitude, befitting the stature and service of the two remarkable Anti-Corruption crusaders whose impact would continue to echo within and beyond the Commission.
