A total of 298 Sierra Leonean home-based Hajj pilgrims have safely arrived at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
The pilgrims landed on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 4:40 AM KSA time via Egypt Air.
Upon arrival, they were warmly received by His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed S. Barrie and Deputy Ambassador Abdul Aziz Turay, who welcomed them with fresh Ajwa Madinah dates.
The pilgrims are currently being accommodated at Manazil Al-Falah, a short walk from Masjid Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque).
During their stay in Madinah, they will perform their daily prayers at Masjid Nabawi and visit historic sites, including the Prophet’s tomb, before proceeding to Makkah for this year’s Hajj.
A total of 2,000 Sierra Leonean pilgrims from home and abroad are performing this year’s Hajj, scheduled to take place from June 4th to 9th, 2025 (8th to 12th Dhul-Hijjah 1446H).
